Mr. Carr's' experience started back in Law School at the University of Denver. Mr. Carr while earning his Law degree worked in the tax resolution center, in which he helped low income tax payers get tax resolution with the IRS. Since then Mr. Carr has continued working for firms in Utah and Arizona as their top Tax Attorney. Now he has teamed up with Lawrence "D" Pew in starting the multi-state firm to help the tax payers in those states.
He is also a member of the Utah and Arizona Bar, and can practice Bankruptcy in both jurisdictions.
Mr. Carr is also licensed to practice in front of the U.S. tax court, which means he can practice in front of the IRS for anyone in any of the 50 states and all territories Mr. Carr has represented people in most states including the following: Arizona, Utah, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri and Michigan.
Lawrence “D” Pew, Esq. – Partner (only admitted in Arizona)
Mr. Pew is an experienced tax, bankruptcy and transactional attorney. Mr. Pew grew up in Arizona and graduated with a major in Finance and a minor is Sociology from Arizona State University and from the Barrett’s Honors College . While at ASU his peers and professors nominated him as an “Outstanding Graduating Senior”. Upon Graduation, Mr. Pew relocated to Silicon Valley to work for IBM. Mr. Pew left Arizona and his banking career for a different opportunity on the west coast. Working as a Financial Analyst, Mr. Pew controlled a Billion Dollar budget and was instrumental in saving IBM over $100 million Dollars.
After his stint with IBM, Mr. Pew wanted more of a challenge so he went to Law school in San Diego. Because of his financial back ground Mr. Pew focused on business planning, contracts, tax, real estate, and estate planning. While attending law school Mr. Pew was president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and the Federalist Society. As part of his role as president Mr. Pew was invited to Washington D.C. as part of a Federalist Leadership Conference where he met Justice Clarence Thomas. Mr. Pew was selected for a highly competitive internship with Fisher Thurber while he was attending Law school in La Jolla, California.
During his internship Mr. Pew was deeply involved with contract analysis and business planning. When finishing Law School Mr. Pew returned to Arizona to work for a prestigious Boutique Firm. He mainly focused on doing estate planning, assisting small businesses and asset protection. He then joined the Phoenix areas largest consumer protection Law Firm. At this firm Mr. Pew helped hundreds of people file for bankruptcy in Arizona's Bankruptcy Court. He was soon recognized for his extent knowledge of bankruptcy law and soon started to receive the more difficult cases. Later, Mr. Carr recruited Mr. Pew to begin giving clients the best bankruptcy experience possible.
